Add A$AP Rocky to the list of people who can’t wait for Rihanna’s upcoming performance at Super Bowl LVII on February 12.

The superstar’s boyfriend and father of her baby met with Apple’s Zane Lowe on Wednesday for an interview to discuss Rihanna’s return to the big stage at the Super Bowl.

During the conversation Rocky commended the singer’s creativity and said he was excited to see what she can bring to the stage.

I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again,” Rocky said. “Getting back out there. It’s just incredible.”

“The Super Bowl is huge, and her being the creative she is, she going to bring it, man,” he continued. “I’m excited. I’m more excited than everybody else, honestly.

Rihanna announced her Super Bowl appearance

The singer announced the honor of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show by posting an image of an extended arm holding up a football on her Instagram page.

The ‘Umbrella’ singer also released a teaser trailer with Apple Music.

Rihanna’s fans started anticipating a return to live concerts last October when the star released her first song in about seven years. The Academy Award nominated song, ‘Lift Me Up’ was released October 28 and is the hit single from the soundtrack for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

The song is nominated for a 2023 Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Anticipation for Rihanna is growing

Rihanna is getting ready to take the stage for her first live performance in five years at the 2023 Super Bowl, which will be broadcasted at 6:30pm EST on Sunday, February 12 from Arizona.

The 34-year-old singer, who has been out of the limelight for years, had a baby with partner A$AP Rocky in May, but is now ready to get back to what she does best.
