Renowned pop singer Justin Timberlake has been arrested on Long Island, specifically in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons, on Monday night. He faces charges related to driving under the influence (DUI) and is expected to be arraigned later on Tuesday.
The circumstances surrounding his arrest are unclear, but it is known that he was taken into custody by the Sag Harbor Village Police Department. Timberlake is currently in custody.
The arrest occurred just before his scheduled performance in New York City at the Madison Square Garden venue. It is part of his first world tour in nearly six years.
