Update:

The 67th Grammy Awards will be held this weekend at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The nominees include the likes of Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar, while Taylor Swift’s 2024 album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ also bagged her six nominations.

Swift’s award nods include Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Music Video. She already has 14 Grammys to her name - including a record four Album of the Year awards - and will be hoping to add to that list this year. At a recent tour concert, she thanked he fans for the support.

“You guys have just been so wonderful about digging into this album and really understanding where I was coming from,” Swift said. “The most recent thing that you did - because everything that happens is a reflection of the passion you show - is you guys got this album nominated for six Grammys. It’s so wonderful. So thank you.”

Taylor Swift is expected to attend the 2025 Grammy Awards show and features heavily in the promotional material for this year’s event. However her partner, NFL star Travis Kelce, may be other wise engaged.

Is Travis Kelce going to the 2025 Grammys?

Early February is always a busy time for Taylor Swift, who is a regular presence at the Grammy Awards. But there’s also a big event on the agenda for boyfriend Travis Kelce as he and the Kansas City Chief gear up for another Super Bowl appearance.

This is the fifth time in six seasons that the Chiefs have competed in the NFL championship game and Travis Kelce will likely be focused on that, unable to fly out to LA for the award ceremony. It’s a conundrum that Kelce faced last season too, when he reluctantly missed the Grammys due to his team’s Super Bowl preparations.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show last year, Kelce explained: “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but on Saturday I’ve got practice and Sunday’s a travel day.”

“I’ve got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week,” he added.

But while Kelce is unlikely to be there for Swift’s big night, she will almost certainly be in attendance in New Orleans next weekend to watch the Chiefs hunt for a historic third straight Super Bowl. She has been a visible presence at many of the Chiefs' crucial postseason games since the couple started dating and is very unlikely to miss this one.
