Will Travis Kelce attend the 2024 Grammys with Taylor Swift?
Swift is up for a number of accolades at the 66th annual Grammy Awards - but will her boyfriend, Chiefs star Travis Kelce, be by her side at the ceremony?
NFL star Travis Kelce won’t be at this weekend’s Grammys Awards in Los Angeles, where girlfriend Taylor Swift is up for several gongs.
“I wish I could” - no Grammys for Kelce
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show this week, Kelce said he’s unable to attend the music awards gala because he’ll be busy preparing for the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl clash against the San Francisco 49ers.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but on Saturday I’ve got practice and Sunday’s a travel day,” the two-time Super Bowl winner explained. “I’ve got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week.”
Aiming to become the first team since 2005 to win back-to-back NFL titles, the Chiefs take on the 49ers in Las Vegas on Sunday 11 February.
Which Grammys is Taylor Swift nominated for?
A pop icon with 12 Grammys to her name already, Swift has been nominated for six awards at the 2024 ceremony. The 34-year-old is a contender for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
She is the first artist ever to be nominated for Song of the Year on seven occasions, and is in the frame for a record fourth Album of the Year award.
Swift set to be at Super Bowl
Despite her touring commitments, Swift is expected to be at next weekend’s Super Bowl to see Kelce in action. The singer-songwriter will have to hotfoot it back from Japan to attend the 49ers vs the Chiefs, as she is due to complete a run of four Eras Tour shows in Tokyo on the day before the game.

The 2024 Grammy Awards are to take place on Sunday 4 February 2024, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony will be aired on CBS and Paramount+ from 8pm ET/5pm PT.
