The November General Election is less than a month away, and both parties are encouraging supporters to verify that they are registered to vote or to do so if they aren’t. There will be no more debates, and early voting is underway in over a dozen states. In most states there is still time to register, but the deadlines are approaching rapidly. Registering as a voter allows you to elect officials in national, state, and local elections.

States have own voter registration deadlines

Each state except North Dakota requires people to register if they want to vote. Every state has its own deadline to register, and depending on where you live, this date could just be weeks away (or have already passed). It is important to remember that not all states offer online registration.

Arkansas, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming do not offer this service, while you don’t have to register to vote in North Dakota.

Find out the deadline for online voting registration in your area so you can sign up in time to cast your ballot.
