Lucas Kjes, a TikTok user from the UK, visited what he believed would be an immersive museum during his trip to the Spanish capital. But what he encountered didn’t meet his expectations at all.
“I don’t know why I called it a museum. It evidently nothing like a museum,” he says in the now-popular video. The attraction in question? A themed museum dedicated to sweets and candy—an experience marketed as playful and interactive.

“I’m not even going to pretend like this was a good exhibition,” he says bluntly. “Maybe if you’re three years old... but my sister and I still had a good time because we’re such fun people.”
His remarks suggest that the experience may be better suited for children or those looking for lighthearted, photo-op-heavy fun—not traditional museum-goers seeking art, history, or culture.
The one highlight? A VR game at the end
Despite the overall disappointment, Lucas did mention one redeeming feature: a virtual reality game that wrapped up the visit.
“[That] was probably the most unique part of the whole experience,” he noted, though it wasn’t enough to turn his review around.
