An American on vacation in Spain details why she wants to live there: “I will apply for my visa soon”

TikTok influencer @amber.guttilla, posted a video recently where she shares some of the things she’s learned about Spain that made her want to move there as soon as possible.

Guittilla explains that during her time in Spain, she learned a few things that fascinated her. First, she highlights the number of annual vacations a worker gets each year. “Spain has 17 public holidays and most employers give them 30 days of vacation a year. Can you imagine?" she said in the video. She also stated that one night she met a couple with whom she chatted, and what they told her made her want to move to Spain soon.

“Last night I met a couple, the sweetest couple in the world, and they were talking to me about their home because I live in Los Angeles. And then they were asking how much it costs to live in LA.” The influencer’s response stunned the couple. Seeing their incredulous expressions, the influencer asked the same thing: “How much does it cost to live in Madrid?”. The couple responded by saying they had two houses, one in the city and one in the countryside, and that the mortgage on one of those houses was no more than 450 euros (per month). The influencer’s response was immediate: “I’m going to apply for my visa very soon,” she stated.
