Apple juice sold by major retailers recalled for high levels of arsenic: list of affected products
The FDA has announced an expanded recall on various apple juice products with high arsenic levels sold at major retailers like Walmart and Aldi.
The Food and Drug Administration has announced an active recall on a number of apple juice products found to have elevated levels of arsenic sold by major retailers including Walmart and Aldi. Arsenic can be extremely toxic, and exposure to high levels can lead to poisoning.
The latest recall expands one issued by Walmart in August, and now involves 133,500 cases of various brands produced by manufacturer Refresco Beverages. The giant retailer says it has removed the products from its shelves.

Walmart’s initial recall only involved 8-ounce bottles of Great Apple Juice. It has been broadened to include the following brands:
- Great Value Apple Juice sold in 96-ounce bottles with best by date “DEC 2624,” “DEC 2724″ or “DEC 2824.”
- Market Basket 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “032525.”
- Nice! 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “Mar 25 25.”
- Weis 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with sell by date “032525.”
- Urban Meadow 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “032625.”
- Nature’s Nectar 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “Mar26 2025″ or “Mar27 2025.”
- Wellsley Farms 100% Apple Juice sold in 96-ounce bottles with use by date “032625.”
- Solevita 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “03272025.”
- Clover Valley 100% Apple Juice sold in 64-ounce bottles with best by date “03/27/2025.”

Aldi has recalled 64-ounce plastic bottles of Nature’s Nectar 100% Apple Juice with best-by dates of March 26, 2025, and March 27, 2025, with the UPC code: 4099100036381.
Aldi stores sold the affected product in 16 states.

What to do if you have recalled apple juice products
The FDA advises consumers who have any of the recalled products to throw it away immediately or return it to where they bought it and ask for a refund. The agency says the affected apple juice contains “inorganic arsenic above action level set in guidance to industry.”
This recall is in process, and consumers will be informed if more products will be added to the list in the immediate future.
