New photos published by The Daily Mail show singer Dua Lipa and Daily Show host Trevor Noah hugging and kissing at Miss Lily’s 7A Cafe in the East Village in New York City. The couple sat in a private part of the restaurant and were dressed in street clothes in an attempt to blend in with the surroundings.

Noah, 38 and Dua Lipa, 27, have kept quiet about their dating lives in the past, but the new images have spurred a series of rumors online. Some trace the meeting of the pair to the 2022 Grammys in Las Vegas, Nevada, which were hosted by Noah.

Who did each date previously?

Dua Lipa dated Bella and Gigi Hadid’s brother, Anwar Hadid, from 2019 to December 2021, while Noah became single in May 2022 after breaking up with actress Minka Kelly.

A relationship between the two may be challenging, considering that both are at the top of their games in their respective worlds. Starting in November, Dua Lipa has a short tour scheduled for Australia and New Zealand. Noah, on the other hand, will be in New York City through the end of the year, with a few shows sprinkled throughout. Both maintain the Big Apple as their base, which could make a relationship easier, even if their careers take them on the road.

Trevor Noah plans to leave The Daily Show

However, Noah announced on Thursday’s program that he planned to leave The Daily Show at the end of the year. With his departure, the comedian will have more time to focus on his personal life as well as pursue other professional ventures. Noah has been the host of the comedy news program since 2015, after Jon Stewart departed following more than fifteen years in the big seat.

During his short speech announcing his departure, he spoke about his interest in getting back on tour after the pandemic. “I spent two years in my apartment (during covid-19), not on the road. Stand-up was done, and when I got back out there again, I realized that there’s another part of my life that I want to carry on exploring,” said Noah.
