The Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) has recently published data that offers us insight into the Bank of America branches that will be closing in the upcoming months. These closures have to be reported to the federal agency, and thus, we get a glimpse of the branches that will be shutting down soon. A total of 108 branches were closed by the financial giant in 2023, and fifty-five closures are already scheduled for this year.

We will bring you more details on these closures as they appear. Unlike Chase, which opened more branches than they closed in 2023, Bank of America saw a net decrease in the number of locations. This year, Bank of America has announced that it will open at least two branches: one in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and the other in Thorton, Colorado.
