Bank of America branches closing soon in California
Here are the branch locations of Bank of America expected to close soon in California, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
California is one of the states that will be affected by the closure of several Bank of America branches during the coming months.
Last year, Bank of America and other financial institutions closed hundreds of locations. As the main reason for the measure, banks pointed to a change in the banking needs of their clients, since more transactions are currently performed outside physical branches.
In addition to the closures, banks are seeking to adapt to the boom in online banking, improving these services and not focusing too much on in-person procedures that have already been digitized.

Banking institutions must notify this body at least 90 days before a location’s closing date. Said notification is made through an Advance Branch Closing Notice. These notices are shared by the OCC in weekly bulletins, published on its official web portal.
