Bank of America branches closing soon in Texas

Find out which Bank of America branch locations will be closing soon in Texas, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Bank of America continues to announce the closure of several branches across the country, including some in the state of Texas.

Last year, this financial institution, like other banks, closed several locations because the banking needs of its customers have changed. As more transactions are carried out outside of brick-and-mortar locations, banks are seeking to adapt to the boom of online banking.

Furthermore, some branches are just no longer profitable, so financial institutions have also decided to close shutter them. Learn which Bank of America branch locations will be closing soon in Texas.

The closure of bank branches is documented by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), since banking institutions must notify this government body at least 90 days before the date of closing.

Such notification is made through an Advance Branch Closing Notice. These notices are shared by the OCC in weekly bulletins, published on its official web portal.

Taking into account that the closure announcement must be made at least 90 days in advance, we can estimate that the February and March bulletins include information on the Bank of America branches that could begin to close starting this month and June.
