Barbie Krispy Kreme doughnuts: How to get a free original glazed doughnut and win a special-edition doll
This year marks Barbie’s 65th anniversary, and Krispy Kreme is celebrating the occasion with pink doughnuts, free treats, and special-edition dolls.
Barbie marks her 65th anniversary this year, and as part of the event’s celebrations, Mattel has partnered with Krispy Kreme for a Barbie-themed promotion.
As part of the event, the chain will offer limited-run doughnut flavors, free doughnuts, and a chance to win a special commemorative Barbie doll.

Barbie Krispy Kreme doughnuts: How to get a free original glazed doughnut and win a special-edition doll
Krispy Kreme is known for their doughnut giveaways, and for Barbie’s birthday, customers who wear pink when they visit a participating Krispy Kreme branch on Saturday, Sept. 7 can claim a free Original Glazed doughnut. Only in-store and drive-thru guests can get the freebie.
The doughnut shop is also giving away a limited number of Barbie Fashionista dolls, with an adult-sized denim jacket accompanying each doll.
There are two ways to win the doll and jacket. From Wednesday, Sept. 4 to Friday, Sept. 6, Barbie fans who comment and tag friends on the Barbie promo post on Krispy Kreme’s social media accounts (@krispykreme on Instagram) will be entered into a giveaway raffle.
From Friday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept 8, members of the chain’s loyalty program can order a Barbie x Krispy Kreme dozen at participating outlets and scan their Krispy Kreme Rewards app at checkout to automatically join a separate giveaway raffle.

Krispy Kreme’s limited-edition Barbie-inspired doughnuts
The doughnut chain is also honoring the iconic doll by creating four new flavors, some of them coming in pink, of course. These special doughnuts make up the Barbie x Krispy Kreme dozen. Here are the flavors that will only be available until Sept. 15.
- The Barbie Pink Doughnut, as the name implies, bears the color most associated with the doll. The treat is an Original Glazed with pink buttercream piping, sprinkled with sparkly pink sugar, and topped with pink Barbie sunglasses.
- The Malibu Dream Party Doughnut pays homage to the Barbie Dream House. It’s an unglazed shell doughnut with Cake Batter Kreme filling, dipped in Malibu blue icing, with white cloud piping, topped with a Barbie Dream House piece.
- The Barbie Berries ‘n Kreme Doughnut is another unglazed shell doughnut with Strawberry Kreme filling, dipped in white icing, decorated with purple and pink buttercream stripes, with a Barbie heart on top.
- The Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut is for the chocolate lovers. It’s an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with Barbie Sweet 65th sprinkles in classic Barbie colors.
