The California government is preparing to send out November CalFresh benefits. These payments correspond to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps.

SNAP, or CalFresh in California, provides benefits to low-income families to purchase food. These benefits are deposited into an electronic benefit transfer card, which works like a debit card that can be used to buy food at authorized establishments.

Benefits are also sent on weekends and holidays. Any remaining balance on your EBT card from the previous month is added to the next month's balance.
