Estados Unidos Update:

Thousands of cans of Coca-Cola soft drinks have been recalled across Texas due to possible metal contamination, according to a statement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The agency confirmed that the recall — classified as a Class II recall — covers more than 4,000 cans distributed in Texas. While the risk of serious adverse health effects is considered “remote,” the FDA noted that drinking one of the contaminated products could cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects.”

Which Coca-Cola products are affected?

According to the statement, the contaminated soft drinks correspond to cans of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola regular and Sprite, distributed on October 3. Among these, more than 4,000 cans are located in Texas, as well as some batches from Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas.
