Costco to open new stores in the United States: full list of locations

Costco is preparing to open several new locations across the country over the coming months. The warehouse club recently debuted new stores in Utah and Florida and has also confirmed additional expansion plans in six more states.

The company recently updated its New Locations page with several warehouse openings scheduled for this summer. New stores are planned in New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, and Missouri.

Recently opened Costco stores

In late June, Costco opened a new warehouse in Syracuse, Utah. The store is located at the intersection of 3300 West and 1700 South, just off the West Davis Highway, and is expected to serve customers throughout the Ogden and Bountiful areas.

Last month, the retailer also opened a new location at 225 E. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola, Florida.

Where is Costco opening new stores?

In August, Costco plans to open a new warehouse in Albany, New York, bringing its total number of locations in the state to 20. The company will also open new stores in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Otsego, Minnesota. According to Costco’s official website, the retailer currently operates 11 warehouses in Wisconsin and 13 in Minnesota.

Also in August, Costco is scheduled to open additional locations in Mansfield and Celina, Texas, as well as Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Costco membership options

Costco offers three membership tiers: Gold Star, Business, and Executive. All memberships include access to benefits such as discounts on contact lenses, Costco Travel vacation packages, and savings on a variety of Costco services. Members also receive access to members-only fuel pricing, although benefits and pricing vary by membership level.

Gold Star Membership

The annual Gold Star Membership costs $65. It includes membership cards for up to two adults who live at the same address and provides access to both in-store and online shopping.

Business Membership

The annual Business Membership also costs $65. It is available to business owners who purchase products for commercial use, personal use, or resale. Members may add one household member at no additional cost, and additional cardholders can be added for $65 per year.

Applicants must provide proof of business ownership, such as a business license or other qualifying business identification.

Executive Membership

The Executive Membership costs $130 per year and includes two household membership cards. Members receive additional savings on select Costco services and Costco Travel packages, plus an annual 2% reward on eligible Costco purchases. Executive members may also receive access to exclusive shopping hours where available.
