The show’s ratings have decreased in recent years. At its peak, the competition show attracted more than 21 million views during the season 11 and 12 premiers, which were released in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
The season 11 finale was won by Ferris Bueler’s Day Off, Actress Jennifer Grey, and dancer Derek Hough. The following year, it was Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward who took home the prize thanks to support from his dance partner Kym Johnson.
