The British pop star Dua Lipa stunned crowds in Chile when she spoke Spanish to the fans, but does she actually know the language?
Dua Lipa is from England and is of Albanian descent, and thus she speaks both English and Albanian fluently. But can she also speak Spanish?
At a concert in Chile, the British pop star stunned the crowds by speaking to them in Spanish. In an interview back in 2020, Dua Lipa answered the web’s most-searched questions about her, one of which was “does Dua Lipa speak Spanish?” At that time, she said does not speak Spanish, but she wished she did and wanted to learn. She’s since posted some social media videos saying Spanish phrases, one in which she and her younger sister make a pact to speak more Spanish with each other.
It seems she has learned a bit since then, at least enough to impress her Spanish-speaking fans across the world. ¡Felicidades, Dua! ¡Sigue adelante!
