Downsides of living in the Breaking Bad house: The owner sprays water at fans who stop by for photos
Despite the famous series ending years ago, fans still flock to the Albuquerque house see where the White family resided.
Joanne Quintana is the owner of possibly one of the most famous houses in Albuquerque.
Despite previous attempts to sell-up and move out of the famous abode that was inhabited by Walter White (actor Bryan Cranston), wife Skyler and children Walter Jr. and baby Holly during the recording of the Breaking Bad series, Quintana still lives at 3828 Piermont Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
The last time Quintana had the house on the market, she was looking for would-be purchasers to part with $4m, which is over 10 times the asking price of similar houses in the same area.
A Breaking Bad museum?
Quintana claimed that she hoped the potential buyers make it a Breaking Bad museum or even a hotel or an Airbnb.
However, she failed to secure a sale with local estate agent Zillow initially estimating that the modest three-bedroom, one-bath house is worth closer to $350,000 rather than the $4 million Quintana was asking for.
Quintana who has lived in the house since 1973, however still gets frustrated by the dozens of fans who still show up outside her front door anxious to get a glimpse of the place where Walter conjured up his plans to create a drugs empire.
Various clips have emerged on social media of the housholder squirting Breaking Bad fans with a hose in an attempt to disperse the crowd of curios from her front door.
