Dr. Sans, physician and educator: “There is only one way to learn to control stress, and that is to manage your ego. You gain a sense of peace”
In an interview with Nude Project, the doctor gave the key to lowering cortisol and catecholamine levels: "Every emotional action has a biochemical basis."

Stress has become a common word in everyday conversation. Although we often associate it with the fast pace of modern life, it is in fact a natural bodily response designed to help us cope with situations that demand attention or effort.
It can arise for many reasons: work responsibilities, personal difficulties, lack of rest, unexpected events, or even positive changes that require adaptation. It is not always negative; at times it provides an extra boost of energy that helps us deal with urgent tasks.
Problems begin when tension becomes persistent and the body is unable to return to a calm state. At that point, stress starts to take its toll. Many people notice this through signs such as ongoing fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, or physical discomfort ranging from muscle aches to disrupted sleep. These symptoms do not necessarily indicate serious danger, but they do show that the body needs a break.
According to physician and educator Manuel Sans, there is only one way to confront stress: “Do you know what causes your stress? Ego. The moment you control your ego, you will have a sense of peace and harmony. You will be able to cope with and manage your emotions. You will be able to come here even if you have work and tremendous pressures. And you will address them in a calm and progressive way,” he explains in an interview with Nude Project.
“It will not be the kind of tension you experience caused by cortisol and catecholamines. Remember that every emotional action of a human being has a biochemical component; that is, there is a response in the brain involving neurotransmitters and hormones. Therefore, only by controlling the ego will we control this neurochemistry and biochemistry, which are what cause all these illnesses,” he adds.
Stress is not only felt physically; it also affects how we think and behave. Under constant pressure, it becomes easier to react impulsively, lose patience, or fall into a cycle of self-reinforcing worry. This can influence work, studies, and relationships with others.
