According to the US Food and Drug Adminstration, Stonewall Kitchen of York located in Maine, has issued a voluntary recall on Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Mix over concerns that the product could be contaminated with wheat. People with celiac disease cannot consume gluten, and the recall has been implemented to avoid serious health consequences if a person with celiac disease consumes a contaminated product. The produce was available in grocery stores across the country and through their online website. The FDA says those with the product in their kitchen should toss it out if their unit has the following details:

  • Name:
  • Enjoy By Date: 03-09-2025 & 03-10-2025 (located on the bottom of the box)
  • UPC: 711381313329
  • Item #: 553429 Packaged in rectangular cardboard box

A reaction was reported to the company, which is what prompted the recall after an “investigation discovered that product containing wheat was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of wheat due to a packaging process error.”

The company is offering a full refund to anyone who purchased the produce. Those with questions about the details of the recall can contact Guest Services for Stonewall Kitchen Premier by guestservices@stonewallkitchen.com or by phone at 800-826-1735 (M-F 8:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET).
