Final Night of the DNC: Where and how to stream

The final night of the DNC lineup has yet to be released. Here is what we know so far and how to stream it from home.

On Thursday night, the DNC will finally hear from their nominee, Kamala Harris.

This week, as is historically the case, has been a candidate fest with the party’s focus on introducing the person to the voters, with a sprinkling of the policy agenda they will fight for if elected. Tonight, those present will hear the vice president make the case for her candidacy in her own words.

The DNC and CSPAN will both broadcast the event live on their YouTube channels, and the entire program can be viewed following the link below.

Who else will speak tonight?

Before the vice president takes the stage, several leaders within the party will speak, including Harris’ former college in the Senate, Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey.

Additionally, the youngest member of Congress, Maxwell Frost, will address the convention crowd tonight.

DNC and Harris campaign reject calls for a Palestinian voice to be heard at the convention

The speech comes as a significant force within the Democratic coalition, particularly voters disturbed, horrified, and outraged by the position the current administration has taken towards Israel, as the death toll in Gaza was estimated to be around 180,000 earlier this summer. The suffering of Palestinians has galvanized people to take to the streets and organize to show the Democratic party that their votes will have to be won and not just given away because Donald Trump presents a more significant threat to the Palestinian people.

The Uncommitted Movement, which performed best in Michigan, securing around 13 percent of the vote in the state’s Democratic primary, picked up a few dozen delegates. Although their votes weren’t needed for VP Harris to win the nomination, they have asked for their perspectives to be represented on the DNC stage, just as the parents of an American hostage being held in Gaza were heard from. Those in the Uncommitted Movement do not criticize the fact that Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s parents were able to speak and argue that hearing from a Palestinian-American who is directly impacted by the conflict would show that families on both sides of the conflict are in deep pain and that the current response is unacceptable. Instead, the Harris campaign has rejected calls from the Uncommitted organizers and jeopardized an important part of their coalition once again.
