Flight attendant goes viral for interpretive dance-style safety demonstration
A flight attendant for American company JetBlue has gone viral thanks to his original safety demonstration that caught the attention of passengers.
Very few flight attendants can make you regret reading your book or looking at your phone instead of watching their standard safety demonstration. Most people have flown so many times and feel so comfortable doing so that they don’t pay much attention to the part before takeoff when the flight attendant shows you how to buckle your belt, inflate the life vest in case of emergency, etc.
But JetBlue flight attendant Peter Echevarria did more than just demonstrate - he entertained. During a flight from Newark to Tampa, Echevarria performed (yes, this is the correct verb) a demonstration with dramatic facial expressions and almost like an interpretive dance to show what to do in case of emergency. The video went viral on TikTok and already has over two million views, has been shared over 10,000 times, and has received more than 200,000 likes.
