Can’t stand airline food? Well, that’s about to change when you fly with Delta airlines, if you are a fan of Shake Shack burgers, and who isn’t. Starting December 1, the Atlanta-based airline will be serving up the “iconic comfort food” on select flights.
Delta announced on Wednesday that its first-of-its-kind “sky-high collaboration” with the fast food restaurant with a cult following. Passengers with a first-class seat will be able to enjoy a delicious 100% Angus beef burger at 30,000 feet. Here’s which flights will be “sure to make your taste buds take off.”

Starting on December 1, 2024, first-class passengers on certain flights out of Boston “will be able to pre-select a Shake Shack Cheeseburger as their meal option.” However, the “comfort food” menu option will only be available on routes that are over 900 miles. Delta plans to expand the Shack Shake menu offering to other markets throughout 2024.
In addition to the Shake Shack Cheeseburger featuring a 100% Angus beef patty that is topped with cheese and served on a toasted potato bun, you will also be able to customize it to create a “signature ShackBurger.” You’ll have a choice of ingredients such as “like tomato, lettuce and Shake Shack’s famous ShackSauce, all served on the side,” Delta said in a press release.
Furthermore, the meal comes with “chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie reminiscent of Shack Attack flavors from some of the brand’s dessert offerings.”
Customer can use the Fly Delta app or a link in their email to make and edit their entrée selection starting seven days before departure up to 24 hours in advance of their flight.
