Google will delete Gmail and Drive accounts this week: who will be affected and how to avoid it

Google has announced a new measure to manage its resources. Through its parent company, Alphabet, certain accounts registered in both Gmail and Google Drive will begin to be deleted on Friday, Dec. 1 in order to free up space on many of the servers that the company has in various locations all over the world.
As the company has announced, a decision in its policy changes regarding users will cause them to begin deleting accounts that have been inactive for at least two years. This could affect a large number of people, although there could be a way to avoid deleting many of them.

Will users be informed if their account is under threat of deactivation?
The company has made it clear that it will send multiple warning messages to accounts under threat of deactivation. Not only will those messages be sent to the email that will be deleted, but to any recovery email in cases where one has been provided. If you do not receive one of these warnings, the policy change will not affect you.
