Just in time for the holidays, Krispy Kreme is releasing a new ‘Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection’ based on the mischievous Dr. Seuss character.
The holiday season kicks into full swing this week as millions of Americans will hit the road to be with family and friends for Thanksgiving on Thursday. The following day is the start of the Christmas shopping extravaganza, Black Friday, when retailers will throw open their doors early to throngs of customers looking to get the best deals of the season.
Whether you’re working, traveling, shopping or just going to cuddle up on the sofa for the day, Krispy Kreme has a special treat for you starting Friday, November 29. The iconic doughnut brand will release its “Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection”.
Here’s a look at the three all-new doughnuts and where you can find them.
Grinch Krispy Kreme Christmas doughnut collection: where they are available
The limited-time collection based on Dr. Seuss’ Christmas classic ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’ will be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations. Select grocery stores, which receive the treats fresh daily, will also be selling the Grinch-themed doughnuts by the dozen or in 6-packs.
The three new flavors include Grinch Doughnut, Grinchy Claus Doughnut and the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut. Krispy Kreme is also bringing back this year the Santa Belly Doughnut and Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut.
What are the flavors of the Grinch Krispy Kreme Christmas doughnut collection?
The Grinch Doughnut is dipped in green icing with a chocolate icing smirky grin and buttercream hair filled with “coal” Cookies & KREME filling. The Grinchy Claus Doughnut is “an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with white buttercreme, Christmas crispies and Grinch piece.” And the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut is also an Original Glazed Doughnut but instead “dipped in strawberry flavored icing with a green buttercreme tree, festively sprinkled and topped with a star piece.”
Santa Belly Doughnut is “filled with white Kreme, dipped in red icing, piped with a black chocolate Santa belt and topped with a belt buckle. If you are looking for an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing with festive sprinkles, the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut is the one for you.

The Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection isn’t the only thing that will bring some cheer this holiday season. On December 12 (12/12), Krispy Kreme will celebrate its “Day of the Dozens” when customers can get a $1 Original Glazed dozen when they purchase any dozen at regular price. The offer will be valid in shops, at the drive-thru as well as online for pick-up or delivery.
