Harvard study suggests that UFOs have been with us for centuries
According to three researchers, extraterrestrial beings or those from another space-time could be hidden in underground bases on Earth or even on the Moon.
The existence of whether or not there are extraterrestrial beings in the universe is a question for which, at the moment, there is no answer. There is no concrete and material evidence that they exist... but neither is there to the contrary. Hence the endless space missions, both by NASA and other international agencies, that search for some sign of life beyond Earth, whether present or past.
But what if hypothetical extraterrestrial beings had already visited our planet in the past, staying hidden among earthlings, in secret bases, or on the Moon? It is a very remote possibility, if not impossible, but one that has been recently raised by three scientists from the Social Sciences department of the Montana Technological University and the Harvard Human Development Program: Tim Lomas, Brendan Case and Michael P Masters.
Under the title ‘The cryptoterrestrial hypothesis: A case for scientific openness to a concealed earthly explanation for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena’, the experts propose in their article, which has not yet been peer reviewed, that the UFO sightings (renamed by NASA as UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena) could be the work of ‘cryptoterrestrials’.
A topic addressed on numerous occasions in the cinematic world, through science fiction stories. But now, these experts have raised it in their article. These ‘cryptoterrestrials’ would be intelligent beings, and more advanced from a technological point of view, who would live hidden in underground structures on Earth and on the Moon.
The 'Conil Case' and beings from another time
These underground bases could be located near volcanoes or under the ocean, places where it is claimed that UFOs have been sighted. In fact, the authors of the paper give the example of a report from 1987, when an unidentified submersible object (USO) followed a New Zealand frigate. They may even possibly be walking among us as if they were humans.
The latter is what five young people claimed to have witnessed in Conil de la Frontera in 1989. The so-called 'Conil Case', in which these young people, on September 29, 1989, claimed to have seen the appearance of extraterrestrial beings adopting a human form on the beach of Los Bateles.
A hypothesis that was already raised in the year 2022, by the physicist and engineer Harold E. Puthoff, who described these beings as an “ancient occult group, isolated pre-Diluvial high-tech society… existing alongside us in distinct stealth.” In his approach, Puthoff places these beings with possible interdimensional origins or cryptoterrestrial hominids or theropods. A hypothesis that is now being picked up by this group of experts.
Thus, in their article they suggest that UFO sightings could involve beings from other dimensions, which coexist with the four dimensions we know (including space-time). This would allow these beings to travel from another dimension, reaching different periods of Earth’s history.
Finally, this theory of ultraterrestrials or cryptoterrestrials suggests that these beings could have arrived on Earth from another planet or even another time period, being “less technological than magical.” Tim Lomas cited in another paper last year that according to Arthur C. Clarke’s Third Law, “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
“Entities which are less like homegrown aliens and more like earthbound angels, relating to the world inhabited by humans in ways that (at least from our present perspective) are less technological than magical, who are known in European languages by names like fairies, elves, nymphs,” they explain in the text.
