How can I get a McDonald’s Halloween Boo Bucket? Dates, locations and orders

One of children’s favorite holidays is coming, which allows them to dress up and get free candy. But how to carry the motherload? McDonald’s has the answer.

Where to score a McDonald's Halloween Boo Bucket

Trick-or-treating, what a blast for any kid. Going out in the darkness of autumn to collect free candy all dressed up! One could take a pillowcase around the neighborhood to haul away to home those precious sweets, but McDonald’s is once again providing an alternative.

The famous fast food restaurant chain has brought back its annual Happy Meal promotional gear for youngsters to lug around the plentiful bounty. The tradition started in 1986 but then disappeared until last year. Halloween Boo Buckets are back again this year.

How can I get a McDonald’s Halloween Boo Bucket? Dates, locations and orders

Depending on the size of the pillowcase, or sack made in home ec, it could probably hold more candy than a McDonald’s Halloween Boo Bucket. But no worries, McDonald’s will be handing out four different pails to those that stop by the burger joint and purchase a Happy Meal, should one hopefully need more space for the sweet treasure.

“Let’s be honest... spooky szn isn’t official until Boo Buckets are back at McDonald’s.”

The Halloween Boo Buckets will come in four designs “including: Monster, Skeleton, Mummy and Vampire” according to the company. The green, orange, white and purple pails will be available starting Tuesday 17 October.

But McDonald’s advises to pick them up fast as “They’ll be gone faster than you can say ‘boo’,” and only while supplies last.

“Trick-or-Heat” buckets available at Burger King

Not to be out done by the Ronald, Burger King is also offering customers “Trick-or-Heat” buckets for $1 with any purchase. However, they will only be available in select markets including Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte; North Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Nashville, Tennessee according to Today.

These Halloween pails will be available starting Friday 13 October. The glow-in-the-dark “Trick-or-Heat” buckets are inspired by Burger King’s ghost pepper menu additions which customers can partake of starting the day before the pails go on sale. Also while supplies last, you can pick up a new limited-edition Burger King Halloween crown with any purchase.
