Hugh Jackman has been nominated for this year’s Global Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture.
The 80th Golden Globe Awards will be held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday 10 January from 8pm ET and will be hosted by stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
On 12 December 2022, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), announced the list of nominees for their 2023 awards and actor Hugh Jackman was nominated for this year’s Global Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture.
Jackman was among the stars who shared their thanks for their Golden Globes nominations last month. The 54-year-old Australian actor stars in The Son and shared a short video to his Instagram account thanking the organisation for his nomination.
“Thank you so much to the Golden Globes,” he said.
“This is a great honor. It means a lot to me, especially this year, considering the incredible performances there have been. I really, really appreciate it, thank you so much.”
