The donut company has announced a new deal to take place on the Leap Day for a discounted dozen of glazed donuts.
Customers who frequent a Krispy Kreme donuts store on 29 February can get a second dozen of glazed donuts for $2.99, provided they have already bought one.
A dozen donuts usually costs $12.99.
“An extra day in the year is an irresistible opportunity for Krispy Kreme to be extra-sweet to ourguests,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme. “So, we’re sweeteningLeap Day by the dozens, including for fans whose true birthday comes around only every fouryears.”
Customers who have their birthday on 29 February can get a dozen glazed donuts for free with proof of age.
