November 13 is World Kindness Day, an international celebration that promotes the importance of being kind to others, fostering goodwill, and creating a more compassionate world.

World Kindness Day encourages people to perform acts of kindness, both small and large, to make a positive impact on the lives of others and promote a sense of community.

Krispy Kreme is one company that is participating in this celebration, and it’s doing it by giving away one dozen free glazed doughnuts.

Not all customers will receive the sweet treat giveaway, however; the company will only gift them to the first 500 doughnut-lovers in certain branches in the United States. No purchase is necessary, you just have to show up early in the shop.

How do you know which branches are participating in the offer?

The promotion allots only one dozen per customer and will only be valid in participating branches. To find out if the store of your choice is among those giving away dozens of doughnuts, check the list on Krispy Kreme’s official website. Enter your zip code, city or state to make your search easier.

If the branch of your preference does not appear in the list, then it is not participating in the promotion.

Krispy Kreme hopes customers will pay it forward

Krispy Kreme is encouraging those who receive their gift to share it.

“World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make a positive difference by being generous- from paying it forward to meaningfully connecting with each other. Simple gestures of caring and thanks, including sharing a sweet treat, is a great way to do that,” according to Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme.

“We hope a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts- one doughnut for you and many to share with others- will inspire millions of small acts of kindness,” he said.

The idea behind World Kindness Day is to highlight the positive power of kindness and encourage individuals, organizations, and communities to engage in acts of kindness that go beyond their daily routines. The goal is to create a ripple effect of goodwill, promoting empathy, understanding, and connection among people.
