Free options for viewing A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
While many may remember watching most of the Charlie Brown specials on live television as a kid, this is no longer an option. Apple purchased the rights to the Peanuts in 2018, meaning that there will be no televised airing of the program. While in 2021, Apple had reached a deal with PBS to show the special, no agreement was reached in 2022 or 2023.
Apple will allow families without a subscription to stream the movie for free on Saturday, 18 November, and Sunday, 19 November.
The streaming service has announced a similar plan for A Charlie Brown Christmas that will allow non-subscribers to view the show for free on Saturday, 16 December, and Sunday, 17 December.
For those with a subscription, the twenty-five-minute special can be streamed whenever it suits your viewing needs. A subscription costs $7.99 a month, and if you aren’t sold on adding another streaming service to your catalog, you can always take advantage of the 7-day free trial and cancel before your credit card is charged. Set a reminder to cancel, or your card will be charged automatically after the trial ends.
