How to watch VP Kamala Harris’ interview on Fox News: streaming options on October 16
A viewing guide for Vice President Kamala Harris’ interview on Fox News tonight.
Later this evening Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Fox News for an interview with Bret Baier.
The interview will air on ‘Special Report’ at 6 p.m. ET. It comes after the Democratic presidential candidate has been on a media blitz, including appearances on ‘60 Minutes,’ ‘The View’, the Call Her Daddy Podcast, and the Howard Stern Show.
How to watch the interview?
Those looking to tune in will need access to a cable package that allows them to view Fox News or stream the network’s content online. Fox is not required to allow other networks to stream the interview, making it more challenging to watch than the presidential and vice presidential debates.
However, once the event airs, the ‘big moments’ are likely to be circulated on social media as political commentators break down the responses given by the vice president.
The polls show a tight race
The interview comes at a critical time as the polls show some tightening in competitive swing states that are must-wins for the Harris campaign, like Michigan and Wisconsin. Since the Democratic Party has refused calls from key pieces of its coalition to change course on the Biden administration policy towards Israel, the vice president has attempted to court moderate Republicans and independents who Donald Trump turns off.
The campaign has touted endorsements from former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter, former Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Political analysts have warned that there are not vast swaths of the electorate who will be motivated to vote by these endorsements and that greater efforts must be made to reach younger voters, voters of color, and particularly Arab American communities.
