Amazon is the leading company in the world of e-commerce, where products of all kinds are sold and bought all over the world.

However, despite being a global brand, not everyone has access to its goods. There are countries where Amazon cannot deliver, either due to economic blockades or actions that go against human rights.

Countries where Amazon is present

Amazon has managed to expand internationally and establish itself in a large number of countries.

These are the countries in which Amazon not only sells, but also has set up physical stores: Germany, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, United Kingdom, Sweden, Singapore, and Turkey.

Selling on Amazon can be an excellent option, since it offers access to millions of customers. However, before carrying out any purchase and sale operation through the site, users must know the parameters within which Amazon operates, as well as ensure that local regulations are complied with.

Countries where Amazon does not sell

There are some restrictions that prevent you from selling products on Amazon in certain countries. For example, in China and India, only sellers who reside in those countries are allowed.

It is therefore important to do some research before selling products internationally. Some of the countries where Amazon does not have physical offices or allow the selling of products are North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Sudan and South Sudan. In these countries, selling is not allowed due to causes related to human rights violations and economic blockades by the government.

There are countries where shipping is allowed, but there are still a number of issues that can arise. For example, China is one of the largest markets in the world, but if you are not a resident of the country, you will not be able to sell your products on Amazon.

Also, some products are restricted in certain countries, such as India, where the sale of tobacco products is prohibited. But these are not the only countries that may be subject to issues.

Here are the countries to consider, as they may restrict some products: Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brunei, Bhutan, China, Egypt, India, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar (Burma), Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
