Are you waiting for a package or planning to send one on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day? Here are the postal service hours for these holidays.
As people celebrate the coming of the new year, some establishments are changing their business hours so workers can take part in the festivities.
New Year’s Day is one of the 11 federal holidays in the United States. This means public offices and services will remain closed on Jan. 1.
The measure applies to the United States Postal Service, which is a public institution. However, private delivery services are another matter under certain circumstances.
