A young Spaniard living in Mexico, identified as Marc Style (@marc_stylee) on TikTok, decided to test the rumours for himself, and headed on down along with his partner to document it in a video that he later published on his social media account. Their reaction matches those of most people who try the experience.

Despite the speed with which the dishes arrive at the table, this restaurant has nothing to do with what is traditionally known as fast food. You know the places we mean. As a specialty, they sell meat, which takes several hours to cook. However, there is also a wide variety of dishes on the menu to choose from.

So, how do they do it? Well, while one of the waiters is taking note of all the dishes you are going to be eating, another begins to bring out the first courses you have ordered. This is made possible via the wonders of modern technology, as the order is recorded on a tablet device, immediately seen in the kitchen and then brought to you, sometimes before the full order is completed.

The video quickly went viral, accumulating more than 4 million views in a few days, more than 200,000 likes and a multitude of comments. Followers also reflected their astonishment and admiration for this culinary service feat.

How did the waiters’ speed serving begin?

Many people come to the restaurant to determine if the speed with which a dish is delivered at Karne Garibaldi is in fact real. A number of YouTubers and content creators have been to enjoy its express service and its ability to maintain the quality of the food.

The restaurant’s owners have also explained that the record began as simply a contest between the waiters to see who could bring the food to each table the fastest, and since that day they have been working at full speed. Currently, as far as we know, this record has not been broken by any other restaurant.
