Jennette McCurdy continues to make waves with the release of her memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died.”

Through this, the famous ‘Sam Puckett’ revealed that Nickelodeon offered her a payment of $300,000 if she agreed not to talk about her experiences with the company. The actress rejected the offer and hasn’t kept anything in her new book.

In fact, McCurdy finally broke the silence about her relationship with his co-star on “Sam & Cat”, Ariana Grande, confirming that they never got along, especially, due to the preferences the company had towards her on set. In the book she even admits to have been “jealous” of Grande, saying “I didn’t like her. I couldn’t like her.”

Jennette McCurdy explodes against Ariana Grande: “I never liked her. I'm upset, jealous of her."

According to Jennette, initially, the company sold her the idea of a completely solo project, not one where she would share the screen with another of the characters from the Dan Schneider universe, iCat Valentine, played by Grande.

This was supposed to be Just Puckett, the harrowing tale of a brassy juvenile delinquent–turned–school counselor. Now it’s some half-baked two- hander—Sam & Cat—about a brassy juvenile delinquent who, with her “ditzy best friend,” starts a babysitting company called “Sam & Cat’s Super Rockin’ Fun-Time Babysitting Service.” This is not harrowing,” she expressed.

Likewise, the actress revealed that the treatment towards Ariana Grande on the set was different, since she had permission to be absent for entire weeks due to her musical career, while she had to reject roles in various movies and carry the full weight of the show.

“The week where I was told Ariana would not be here at all, and that they would write around her absence this episode by having her character be locked in a box. Are you. Kidding me,” she continued speaking to her frustration that Ariana could miss work " “in pursuit of her music career while [she act with a box.”

“I’m pissed about it. And I’m pissed at her. Jealous of her,” said McCurdy before explaining how Ariana’s privillaged upbrining created resentment and jelousy.

The moment that broke Jennette McCurdy: Ariana Grande at Tom Hanks' house

Despite the differences on set and McCurdy's jealousy, the moment the actress really exploded was when Ariana told her that she had spent the night before at Tom Hanks' house, playing with his family.

“Ariana came whistle-toning in with excitement because she had spent the previous evening playing charades at Tom Hanks’s house,” recounted the actress.

“From that moment on, I didn’t like her. I couldn’t like her. Pop star success I could handle, but hanging out with Sheri Woody, with Forrest Fucking Gump? This has gone too far,” she said in her book.

I’m Glad My Mom Died” is now available in bookstores nationwide.
