The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program continues its delivery of food aid. Here are the beneficiaries who will receive their payments on July 11.
There are several food aid programs in the United States, the most popular being the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP, formerly known as food stamps.
This system provides low-income families benefits to buy food using an Electronic Benefits Transfer card. This works like a debit card that can be used at certain grocery stores.
Despite being a federal program, SNAP is administered by state governments, so requirements, delivery dates, and amounts vary from state to state. Below is an explanation of how much money is paid per month, and a list of states that will send payments on July 11.

SNAP benefits: How much is sent in 2023?
Amounts sent as SNAP benefits depend on household size, as well as other income factors and other requirements. The average SNAP payment varies from state to state, but the federal average is about $180 per month for an individual.Here are the maximum amounts that are sent in the majority of the states, with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii.
For recipients living in Alaska, the maximum is $351 per person for urban residents, $448 for rural 1 residents, and $545 for rural 2 residents. Meanwhile, in Hawaii, the maximum is $538 for one person. You can consult the complete pay tables in the Hawaii and Alaska websites.
July 11 SNAP Payments: Who Will Get It and Amounts
Because each state manages SNAP payments, dates for sending out the money vary. Some states usually send money at the beginning of the month, while others send money during the first three weeks of the month in batches based on first name, last name, Social Security number, case number, or account number.
