The 2023 BAFTA Awards hosted some of the most famous celebrities in British and American film. But without a doubt one of the most anticipated appearances was that of Kate Middleton, especially after the British press revealed that Prince William supposedly spent Valentine’s Day in the company of a friend, and not his wife.

The Princess of Wales attended the gala, as she did in 2017, 2019 and 2020, with an outfit created by acclaimed designers Alexander McQueen. This year she wore a white dress with an asymmetrical neckline that she accompanied with long black gloves. However, what really caught people’s attention was her choice of jewellery, specifically her earrings.

Zara, the Spanish high-street fashion brand, is where the earrings are from. The company website describes the jewellery as “metallic flower-shaped pendant earrings with jewel application”. They are called flower cascade earrings.

The earrings are very affordable considering the Princess’ stature. On the official website of the brand they appear with a price of $17. Good luck purchasing them though, they are sold out!

The relationship drama Kate Middleton has been facing

Middleton’s attendance at the BAFTAs with her husband came days after the British press revealed Prince William spent Valentine’s Day with his friend Rose Hanbury, the model and wife of a hereditary nobleman. She was once a friend of Middleton’s but a public falling out means the two are not on good terms.

The rumours suggesting a link between the heir to the British throne andHanbury, the Marquise of Cholmondeley, are not new. They already made headlines in 2019 when photographs of the pair appeared in British tabloid newspapers.
