Kim Kardashian reveals texts from Kanye West: What is he still texting her about?

While they might be divorced, Kim Kardashian revealed on the latest episode of her family’s show that Kanye ‘Ye’ West still gives critiques of her apparel.

Kim Kardashian shared a text message from her ex, Kanye ‘Ye’ West, on the latest episode of The Kardashians in which he provided fashion advice. Thursday’s show found the reality star at the Milan Fashion Week to watch her younger sister Kendall Jenner walk in the Prada show.

While they might be divorced, the rapper and fashion designer still tries to have a voice in his ex-wife’s choice of apparel because “He can’t help himself,” according to Kim. She too reserves the right to criticize his fashion sense, one of his latest drew rebuke from many.

Kanye ‘Ye’ West “would have went to jail” before going out in what Kim Kardashian wore

Kim Kardashian seemed bemused in the October 6 episode of her family’s reality TV show on Hulu when she got a text from the Yeezy fashion designer allegedly criticizing one of her looks. “Look what Kanye texts me. ‘No white glasses. Better make security wear black gloves. The orange made me so mad. Would have went to jail before I went out in that. I will be home for North’s game,’” the 41-year-old told her entourage.

The two finalized their divorce in March 2022 but as with just about any ex-couple with kids, they share four children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, exchanging text messages can be expected. Messages about one’s ex’s fashion choices though would not be considered normal, but given the parties involved, apparently in this case it is.

“While I am here in Milan, Kanye has the kids at home and can’t help himself,” Kim said in a confessional. “We can laugh about things we like or don’t like. No matter how crazy things are sometimes, we’re always going to be family.”

Kim reserves the right to criticize Kanye’s outfits

In defense of Ye’s criticism of his ex’s fashion sense, Kendall also didn’t care much for the orange jumpsuit saying during the show “kinda looked like you had a diaper on.”

The SKIMS founder when relating the situation took a light-hearted jab at Kayne, “I’ll text him back and be like, ‘You know, you have been wearing those boots for a long time, so when you’re ready to change your outfit, let me know, and then you can have advice on mine.’”

Kayne recently received much backlash himself when he appeared at his Paris fashion show along with conservative commentator Candace Owens with both wearing shirts emblazed with the phrase “White Lives Matter” on the back. The phrase emerged in 2015 as “a racist response to the Black Lives Matter movement” and according to the Anti-Defamation League has been adopted and promoted by white supremacist groups and sympathizers.
