Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen donuts for 50% off, and then for only $1, as the chain celebrates the longest day of the year and the start of summer.
On Thursday, June 20, the summer solstice of 2024 will take place. This day welcomes the longest day of the year, the official start of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and the perfect excuse to enjoy some marked-down doughnuts.
As we count down to the first day of summer, Krispy Kreme is celebrating the season with four days of special offers. From June 17 to 19, customers can take advantage of a 50% discount on a dozen original glazed doughnuts at designated hours.

Krispy Kreme will go all out on the actual day of the summer solstice, which it calls the “Hot Light-est Day of the Year”. The chain will be giving customers a chance to get a dozen glazed doughnuts for only $1 for a purchase of any dozen doughnuts.
Unlike the offers earlier in the week, this deal is available all day long on Thursday, June 20, both in stores and online. Simply use the code SUMMER.
The restaurant will also reportedly hand out a free dozen glazed doughnuts to lucky randomly selected diners on the day of the summer solstice.
