Krispy Kreme’s free donut deal to celebrate the 4th of July: How to get it
Krispy Kreme will be creating special donuts to celebrate the 4th of July, and the chain will also offer free Original Glazed donuts to qualified customers.
The 4th of July holiday is coming up and Krispy Kreme is celebrating the event with limited edition doughnuts and freebies.
The chain is coming out with a collection called Star Spangled Sweetness for a touch of patriotism. All the special flavors come in red, white, and blue. The lineup is headlined by the Original Glazed doughnut that will be dressed up for the occasion, “hand-dipped in white icing and decorated with patriotic red icing stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.” This flavor is called the Freedom Flag Doughnut.
Another creation featuring the Original Glazed is the Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut, which is “hand-dipped in blue icing and cotton candy sugar and decorated with white and red buttercreme dollops.”

For those who prefer to bite into doughnuts with fillings, there’s the Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Doughnut, which is an unglazed doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme, hand-dipped in red icing and decorated with a blue icing swirl and a rocket candy piece to add some crunch and texture.
You can purchase the specialty doughnuts by the dozen or in a specialty six-count box at participating locations. The patriotic doughnut will be on sale through July 4.

If you don a red, white, and blue outfit on Thursday, July 4, you can claim a free Original Glazed doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme branches. You can get the freebie in-store and even when you make a drive-thru purchase.
