Year after year, hundreds of Centennial State residents are eligible for a check of up to $300 as a food tax refund from the Food Tax Rebate Program. .
Who qualifies for $300 checks in Colorado?
The food tax refund is intended for low-income residents of the City of Boulder. To be eligible for this one-time payment, you must have resided in Boulder, Colorado, for all of 2023, have been 62 or older during that same year, be a person with some type of disability, or be a family with children under 18 years of age.

If you think you meet the requirements, you can find an application in English or Spanish and submit yours through the program website.
The period to apply for the Food Tax Rebate Program began on March 1. Application forms must be received or postmarked by the June 30 deadline. That means that this week is the last opportunity to claim the payment.
