Lollapalooza 2023: how much do tickets cost and how to buy them?

Tickets are now available for the four-day music extravaganza, Lollapalooza. Here is how much they cost and how to get yours.

Once again, Lollapalooza will take place in Chicago’s Grant Park for the music festival’s only US location since 2005. Over four days, from Thursday, 3 August to Sunday, 6 August, some of the biggest names in music will be performing at the iconic music extravaganza.

The event started by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell in 1991, which is attended by around 400,000 concertgoers, typically sells out each year. Tickets are now available for this year’s event. Here’s a look at what they’ll set you back.

Nine stages with nearly 200 artists performing for all tastes

For the main attraction, there over 170 artists playing across eight stages at Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago’s Grant Park. Concertgoers have the choice between 2-Day and 3-Day General Access bundles or 1-Day and 4-day tickets with different levels of access.

There are four levels of access to Lollapalooza 2023 General Access, General Access Plus, VIP and Platinum. Those that are looking to attend the music festival in true luxury through the Destination Experience Hotel Packages, Cabanas or Lolla Insider offered by the concert promoter will need to purchase those tickets quickly after they become available on 23 March.

Children 10 and under are allowed in for free with access to Kidzapalooza. Almost a dozen bands will perform on a ninth stage in Grant Park southeast of Buckingham Fountain along Lake Shore Drive. There is also other entertainment and workshops available for attendees’ young ones.

How much do tickets cost?

Currently, 4-day tickets are being sold for:

  • General Admission: starting at $325;
  • General Admission+: starting at $675;
  • VIP: starting at $1,500.

Additionally, for a going price of $4,350, Premium Tickets are available and include “unlimited access to two Platinum Lounges (at North & South main stages) featuring complimentary all-day dining and full-service bar with beer, wine, and cocktails,” and much more.

The luxury hotel packages experiences have not been released yet, but will become available on Thursday 23 March.
