According to information released by the Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased in the border city of Brownsville. The prize will expire on May 14, 2026, if it is not validated at Texas Lottery headquarters before the deadline.
The winning numbers for the November 15, 2025 drawing, with a $78 million jackpot, are: 7, 17, 23, 28, 39, and 48.

Under Texas Lottery rules, prizes over $5 million, as well as all Lotto Texas, Powerball, and Mega Millions jackpots, and any prizes paid as annuities, must be processed at the headquarters in Austin.

Lotto Texas drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. Central Time. Tickets cannot be purchased between 10:02 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Central Time.
How to play Lotto Texas
To participate, you must purchase a ticket from an authorized Texas Lottery retailer. Players must select six numbers from 1 to 54, either manually or randomly.
Each ticket costs $1, or $2 with the Extra! option, which gives players an additional chance to increase non-jackpot winnings by up to $10,000. To win the jackpot, all numbers must match, but smaller prizes are available for partial matches.
Players who match all six numbers win the rolling jackpot. However, even with fewer matches, it is still possible to win cash prizes.
