McDonald’s McRib is back in November: Where to find the sandwich | Restaurant locations
Fans of McDonald’s cult favorite, the McRib, have a reason to rejoice. The ‘retired’ sandwich is back for a limited time, and only in limited locations.
McDonald’s cult classic sandwich, the McRib, has been retired and un-retired several times since it was first introduced in 1981, and the last time it said its goodbyes was in a “farewell tour” it held in November of last year.
Fans were confident it wasn’t its final farewell, and sure enough, the sandwich is coming back for a limited time this month, and only at select locations. McDonald’s has been coy about exactly when and where the McRib will be available, and has encouraged fans to check with their local restaurants to see if they have the product on offer.

Some states already know when they will be able to grab the menu item, and others are already enjoying it. McRib already started its limited run in select branches in Ohio, Kentucky, Greater Indiana, and Southwest Michigan on Saturday.
Enthusiasts of the boneless barbecue pork sandwich living in Georgia will be happy to know that all locations in the state, including Savannah and Macon and surrounding areas, will have it on the menu beginning Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023. North Florida and Southeast South Carolina will also offer the special menu item.
The McRib will be available in Illinois from Nov. 15 through Dec. 10.
