McDonald’s is whipping up a new treat, the “Grandma McFlurry” hits menus nationwide on May 21st, offering a delightful taste of nostalgia.

This special McFlurry blends McDonald’s signature vanilla soft serve a couple of other ingredients:
- Delicious syrup (flavor not yet revealed, but meant to be evocative of something a grandma might keep in her purse)
- Chopped, crunchy candy pieces (again, flavor unspecified but intended to be reminiscent of nostalgic treats)
To celebrate the launch, McDonald’s is deploying the “Grandma’s McFlurry Mobile” – their take on the classic ice cream truck. New Yorkers can score a free taste of the McFlurry today, 17 May, in Herald Square from 1:30 pm to 7 pm.
