While many Americans may choose to fire up the grill once again to celebrate one of the country’s most beloved and iconic foods some your favorite burger joints are giving discounts and deals so you can celebrate your favorite sandwich on a budget. Below we’ll share with you what’s on offer across the nation.

Arby’s

Arby’s is famous for its signature roast beef sandwiches, but the chain will shine the spotlight on the hamburger on its special day. To celebrate the occasion, rewards members will receive a 50% discount on any purchase of a burger online or on the app from May 27 through June 2.

Buffalo Wild Wings

This restaurant is known for its chicken wings, but their menu also features seared and hand-smashed hamburgers. In celebration of National Hamburger Day, customers can buy one burger and get another one for free on May 28. All you need to do is sign up to be a Blazin’ Rewards member, in case you aren’t one yet.

Burger King

Burger King will be treating the users of its app royally on May 28 with a free hamburger. All you need to do is spend $0.70 to get the gift. Look for the freebie on the “Offers” page of the restaurant’s app.

It’s practically impossible to enjoy a burger without having some fries. You can get some for free if you’re a member of the fast food chain’s Royal Perks club. Score the free fries of any size- small, medium, or large, with any purchase. However, this deal can’t be claimed with any other offer or coupon.

Shake Shack

A good counterpoint to a juicy burger is a thick shake. You can get one free at Shake Shack through June 26 at participating locations. You simply need to make a food and/or beverage purchase worth at least $10 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and you get a free shake of any size and any flavor. Enter the promo code FAVESHAKE at checkout. The offer is not valid for in-store, delivery or curbside pick-up, nor for orders made through a third-party delivery service.

Smashburger

On Tuesday, the day of the celebration, Smashburger is offering its patrons Classic Singles for only five dollars at participating locations. The deal is available for the following menu items: Classic Smash Burger, Classic Smash Turkey Burger, Classic Smash Black Bean Burger, and Classic Smash Veggie Burger. The offer is available in-store, through their website, or their app using the promo code CLASSIC24.

From May 28 to June 2, the fast food chain will offer Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers for only one cent with a purchase when customers order online. The offer will only be available in the Wendy’s app, so orders must be placed online to access the offer.
