New alert for tornadoes, storms and floods in Texas: These are the affected areas

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado and flood watch in Texas. Here are the areas that could possibly be affected.

In recent days, several parts of the United States have been under a tornado watch, as these weather systems have caused havoc, destruction and even fatalities.

One of the states that has been affected is Texas, and the state continues to experience severe weather. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood alert as well as a tornado watch in some parts of the state.

These areas of Texas are under a tornado and flood warning

The NWS has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of Texas until 11:00 p.m. CT. According to the National Weather Service, areas under tornado warning include Anderson, TX; Falls, TX; Freestone, TX; Leon, TX; Limestone, TX; Milam, TX and Robertson, TX.

There is also a watch in Brown, TX; Callahan, TX; Coke, TX; Coleman, TX; Concho, TX; Fisher, TX; Haskell, TX; Jones, TX; McCulloch, TX; Mason, TX; Menard, TX; Nolan, TX; Runnels, TX; San Saba, TX; Schleicher, TX; Shackelford, TX; Taylor, TX; Throckmorton, TX; Tom Green, TX; Baylor, TX; Foard, TX; Hardeman, TX; Knox, TX and Wilbarger, TX.

The watch does not mean that tornadoes will occur, only that they are possible. This means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes to form and it is necessary to pay attention and be alert in case they do occur.

When a tornado forms or is imminent, the National Weather Service will issue a Tornado Warning. This means that you need to immediately implement your plans to protect yourself, so it is of the utmost importance to be aware and to stay informed.

The areas of Texas under flood warning are Concho, TX; McCulloch, TX; Menard, TX, Coryell, TX; Leon, TX; Robertson, TX; Hunt, TX; and Rockwall, TX.
