When are Social Security payments made for beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th?

Social Security payments in the United States are typically made on a specific day of the month, depending on the recipient’s birth date.

Update:
$914 Social Security payments: who will get it?

Social Security sends payments to recipients on a specific schedule each month. The exact payment dates vary based on the beneficiary’s birth date, unless you were born before May 1997.

On the 3rd day of every month, the Social Security Administration (SSA) sends money to these people. If day three is a weekend, the payment is advanced to the previous Friday.

The primary reason for having a designated payment schedule is to ensure an organized and efficient process for distributing benefits to millions of recipients. Having a structured payment schedule allows the SSA to manage and process a large volume of payments in a systematic manner. It helps in streamlining their operations, ensuring accurate calculations, and reducing the likelihood of errors.

Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th day of the month can expect to receive their Social Security payments on the third Wednesday of every month. The next payment date will be 15 June, 2023.
